Philosophy/Mission

UnEarth Productions involves a collective of media makers committed to the creation of independent, uncensored, unembedded media. We believe that truly free societies depend on vibrant independent media, on people collaborating, critiquing, creating and sharing. We believe in using media technology to inform and empower people and to educate and motivate individuals and groups to work towards a more just and sustainable world.

The media arts are powerful tools that can be used to promote dialogue and understanding, to inspire action and participation in social and environmental movements. Through independent media we hope to combat both the misinformation and lack of information prevalent in corporate media and contribute to movements building solidarity between the people of the United States and those of other nations who are struggling against the common enemies of poverty, hunger, homelessness, lack of health care and education, and racism and inequality of all kinds. A better world is possible and we can create it through dialogue, solidarity and grassroots organization.
